How to consign with Little Lavender

1. We specialize in the following: Children's Clothing (newborn to 6x) Boys and Girls - higher end, smocked clothing, handmade, home show, boutique (Amanda Remembered, Anivini, Baby Lulu, Baily Boys, Beaux et Belles, Carriage Boutique, Funtasia, Hannah Kate, Hollywood Baby, House of Hatten, Kelly's Kids, Mulberry St., Petit Ami, Ragsland, Samara, Sir John, Strasburg, Sweet Impressions, and more).
   
   
2. We do not accept Gap, Old Navy, Carters, Osh Kosh, Target, Kmart or Walmart brand cloting. If Gap, Old Navy, Carters, Osh Kosh, Target, Kmart or Walmart brand clothing are mailed/consigned to Little Lavender, they will not be returned to the consignor. Since we do not post these items on the site, we have a difficult time pulling the items from our inventory when the items are to be returned to our consignors.  We do not accept shoes from our individual consignors.
   
   
3. All clothing must be gently worn or new and in very good condition. All clothing must be clean and pressed. Consignors who live in the Birmingham, Alabama area must submit clothes on hangers.
   
   
4. Merchandise from local consignors within the Birmingham, Alabama area must be brought in by appointment. We can be reached via email at consign@littlelavender.com to schedule an appointment. Out of town consignors may email us to receive additional information regarding mailing merchandise. 
   
   
5. Out of town consignors must email Little Lavender at consign@littlelavender.com prior to the shipment of their consigned items. Special instructions will be given regarding the shipping process. Little Lavender cannot be held responsible for items that are shipped to us that do not meet our standards such as shoes and items that are listed in section # 2. 
   
   
6. Once the items are received, an excel spreadsheet will be emailed to the consignor regarding the merchandise that is being consigned. Consignors will also receive a login and password to view the status of their items that have been consigned. 
   
   
7. The consigned price of an item will be set by management at the time of consignment, unless a particular item is specified by the consignor.
   
   
8. Checks will be issued monthly on or after the 15th . The checks will consist of consignor''s earnings for the prior month for any amounts due in excess of $20.00. Any amount below $20.00 will accrue until the following month''s check. 
   
   
9. If the items are sold within a 90 day period, the consignor will receive 55% of the purchase price for the clothing. After 90 days if the merchandise is not sold, Little Lavender will schedule a time for pickup, donation, or the item will be returned via United States mail to consignor at the consignor''s expense. At the option of Little Lavender, the 90 day contract may be renewed.
